The APRS Committee comprises of professionals from government institutions and voluntary welfare organisations providing mental health services. To achieve its mission, APRS seeks to provide psychiatric rehabilitation courses to enhance the knowledge and skills of practitioners working in mental health and social service agencies.Objective Evidence shows that psychiatric rehabilitation services improve a person’s potential for recovery. Psychiatric rehabilitation is based on principles that respect the capacity of every person to learn and grow, and to make independent choices on matters that are important.
